For more than two decades, many of our members have shared life together through friendships, family, and faith. What began as a close-knit community has grown into a church family rooted in Christ and connected by a shared love for God and for one another.
We are a Filipino-American church grounded in faith, prayer, and service, with many of our members calling Chula Vista, National City, and the surrounding communities. Our church family includes active-duty military members, veterans, and families from all walks of life.
Through every season, we continue to walk alongside one another, encouraging, serving, praying, and growing together. In doing so, we are reminded of God’s faithfulness and the importance of doing life together in Christ.
In 2017, we took a step of faith and officially formed Grounded Community Church. What began with a shared vision and a heart to serve continues today as we seek to live out our faith and purpose in Christ Jesus.
Leadership
SERVING GOD, CARING FOR OTHERS
At Grounded Community Church, we are blessed with leaders who are passionate about serving God and caring for our church family.
Senior Pastor Mario Amansec provides spiritual leadership and faithfully shares God’s Word, encouraging our congregation to grow in faith and live with purpose in Christ. Serving alongside him is Pastor-in-Training Nathan Nono, who is growing in his calling to ministry and helping lead the next generation of GCC.
Our Elders and Movers also play an important role in the life of our church. They faithfully serve behind the scenes and help support the spiritual health, ministries, and day-to-day needs of our church family.
Together, our leadership team seeks to guide, encourage, and equip our church family as we grow in faith, serve others, and live out our purpose in Christ.
